COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Maldives High Commissioner Masood Imad joined fellow diplomats in Colombo this week to contribute to Sri Lanka’s recovery efforts following the recent cyclone, underscoring regional solidarity in the face of climate disaster. Imad was among a group of envoys who collectively donated 3.6 million Sri Lankan rupees to the government’s “Rebuilding Sri Lanka” Fund, which provides relief to communities affected by the storm.
