Minister of Islamic Affairs Unveils Ambitious Plans for Mosque Construction and Modern Islamic Library

In a significant announcement today, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Shaheem Ali, revealed plans for the construction of three mosques in the Male’ area, supported by private donors. Taking to social media, Shaheem disclosed that two mosques will grace HulhuMale’, while one will be established in the heart of Male’.

Expressing gratitude for the generous contributions from private individuals, the minister assured that the construction of these mosques would be completed within the next 18 months, enriching the religious landscape of the capital.

In addition to the mosque developments, Minister Shaheem shared plans for a state-of-the-art Islamic library to be established at the Holy Quran Centre. Emphasizing the importance of libraries as beacons of Islamic civilization, the minister highlighted the role of the modern library in providing a conducive environment for both youth and academic researchers.
