Foreign Minister Heads to China for South Asia Cooperation Forum

MALE’— Foreign Minister Iruthisham Adam has travelled to Kunming, China, to attend the 7th China-South Asia Cooperation Forum, which runs from 10 to 12 June.

Irtishaam will deliver a keynote address at the forum’s opening ceremony and attend the launch of the 10th China-South Asia Expo. She is also scheduled to meet senior officials from the Yunnan provincial government to discuss bilateral ties, and will meet Maldivian students currently studying in the province.

Additional Secretary Ameen Javid Faisal and Director Mariyam Bassama Farooq are travelling with her.
