Hawa Yumnu Rasheed, who was seriously injured after falling from a building, has been flown to Malaysia for further treatment, after an outpouring of public support helped her family raise additional funds for her care. Yumnu had been receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Malé before the transfer. Her family, some of whom reside in Malaysia, had pushed for her to be moved overseas in hopes of better medical options.
