MALE’, Maldives — During his state visit on Friday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred 72 heavy-duty vehicles to the Maldivian National Defence Force, reinforcing defense ties. The fleet, handed over to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, includes buses, pickups, vans, lorries, tractors, dump trucks, backhoe loaders, cranes, and excavators. The vehicles aim to enhance the MNDF’s operational capacity, marking a key moment in India-Maldives strategic cooperation.
