MALÉ — The Bank of Maldives (BML) has officially entered into an agreement with iRunners to become the exclusive banking partner for the Maldives Half Marathon 2026 (MHM26).
The event is scheduled to take place on 14 August at Hulhumalé Central Park, with organisers expecting over 2,000 participants. The competition is structured across eight distinct categories, including the half marathon, 15km, 10km, 5km fun run, 5km wheelchair race, kids’ mile, and a family run.
In addition to the race, iRunners will host a three-day expo at the Hulhumalé running track, running from 11 August to 13 August. The marathon has also committed to environmental stewardship; a portion of the registration proceeds will be donated to the ‘Save the Beach’ organisation, under the banner of the ‘Protect the Reef’ campaign.
