MALE’  — The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has officially transferred its primary administrative headquarters and public service operations from the capital to Hulhumalé, the agency announced on Saturday.

Effective immediately, all counter services and public administrative functions will be managed from the second floor of the Manhattan Grand Hotel in Hulhumalé Phase 1, situated adjacent to the WAMCO Hulhumalé office.

The move marks a departure from Roashanee Building in Malé, where the HPA had long operated alongside the Ministry of Health and the Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA).

With this relocation, the public health authority becomes the first state agency to establish its headquarters within the Manhattan Grand Hotel premises.

“With this change, all services previously provided by this agency will now be available from our dedicated counters established on the second floor of the Manhattan Grand Hotel building,” the HPA said in a public notice.
