Russian Ambassador to the Maldives and Sri Lanka, Levan Dzhagaryan, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Iruthisham Adam in Malé on Wednesday, September 9, to mark six decades of official ties between the two nations.
During the meeting, Ambassador Dzhagaryan delivered a congratulatory message from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Russia.
The discussion covered key areas of bilateral cooperation between Malé and Moscow, as well as joint engagement at international forums, including the United Nations.
