President Muizzu and PM Modi Exchange Eight Bilateral Agreements

MALE’, Maldives — President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu  and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi  oversaw the exchange of eight Memoranda of Understanding on Friday, launching a free trade agreement framework and advancing cooperation in trade, finance, fisheries, healthcare, climate science, digital technology, and cross-border transactions. The agreements, signed during Modi’s visit, included a $565 million credit line to support Maldivian development.
